A Boy"s Life in the Baby Boom, True Tales from Small Town America
by James Herbert Smith

Click image to read an excerpt from this book
“A joyful return to the simple pleasures of growing up in the pre-digital age. This memoir is a stroll through the youthful struggles, foibles and triumphs of the baby boom generation. Jim"s story conjures images of a 1960s Huck Finn supplanted to that special place we call our home town.”
David McNellis (author of Reflections on Big Spring )

James was born in 1946 and grew up in Pittsford, NY. This book will warm your heart as you read about the escapades of Jim and his boyhood comrades. Historic Pittsford is proud to make this book available at the Little House for $20.
