OLD-GROWTH WOODS WALK
Saturday, June 11, 2022
Join us on the historic Hopkins Farm for a scenic guided spring walk through one of our region's largest old-growth woodlands. Led by Bob Corby, attendees will learn about farm's unique history, structures, and current operation.
Our focus will be the 30-acre woods that contains some trees that are several hundred years old. The discussion will include identifying the distinctive features of a native forest as well as current environmental challenges including invasive species.
